This 1957 Porsche 356A 1600 Speedster has the original engine and transmission as well as its original color. It will require some work to get it back into original condition though. There are areas on the floor, body and doors that have rust. The floor also has a few holes that will need repaired.
Mechanical problems of note are the stabilizer bar bushings, bolts, bearings, bushings arms which will all require replacement.

In early 1957 a second revision of the 356 A was produced, known as Type 2 (or T2). Production of the Speedster peaked at 1,171 cars in 1957 and declined after that. The four-cam “Carrera” engine, initially available only in the spyder race cars, became an available option starting with the 356 A. This particular car sold for $60,000 in February of 2017.
