This is an exceptional and original, very well preserved, 1960 Porsche 356B 1600 Super, factory Sunroof Coupe. All numbers are matching per COA. The car is in excellent running condition. The paint is excellent as well and it had one respray, in the late 1980’s, on its original signal red color code #6011.

The interior is very well preserved, not concours condition, but still nice with no tears. The chrome is in excellent condition.
The Porsche 356B was produced from 1959 through 1963. A total of 30,963 of the model B were produced. Late 1959 styling and technical refinements gave rise to the 356 B (a T5 body type). The mid-1962 356 B model was changed to the T6 body type (twin engine lid grilles, an external fuel filler in the right front wing/fender and a larger rear window in the coupe).
A unique “Karmann Hardtop” or “Notchback” 356 B model was produced in 1961 and 1962. The 1961 production run (T5) was essentially a cabriolet body with the optional steel cabriolet hardtop welded in place. This particular car sold for $55,099 in December of 2015.
